| Nestled in the foothills of English Mountain resides the greatest little coffee service this

| side of Atlanta. In Cocke County, these English Mountains are the hills and knobs adjacent to the Great |
|
| Smokey Mountains. These mountains are what we folks call "home." This steep rolling hills are "home" |
|
| to many and varied resources and activities. |
|
| The small meandering mountain streams abound with rainbow, brown and native brook |
|
| trout which are great for fly fishing, the lake reservoirs are overflowing with many species of fish; |
|
| crappie, bass, bluegill, and catfish to name a few. Springs brings an abundance of wildflowers; |
|
| everything from trillium, Indian paint brush, bloodroot, and so many more. The redbuds, dogwoods, and |
|
| serviceberry are so numerous that they light up the woodland with color, not long after the mountain ash |
|
| blossoms fall. Stream sides and the north side of each knob are carpeted with azalea, mountain laurel, |
|
| and rhododendron along with many mosses. The wild berries; blackberry, raspberry, gooseberry, huckleberry |
|
| and a few more, grow in wild abundance in select coves throughout the mountains. Ramps, polk, ginseng, and |
|
| many wild greens are edible and plentiful in the mountainous area. Accompanying this vegetation is the low |
|
| hanging clouds and moist humid fog that gives these mountains their smokey reputation. The old folks often |
|
| call this natural haze witch's brew, but mostly this atmosphere is indicative to many good cups of premium |
|
| These mountains offer numerous hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as the Appalachian |
|
| Trail, the most notorious of all east coast mountain trails, crossing over streams, cliffs and balds. The hiker's |
|
| and biker's best friends are the numerous campgrounds available through out these mountains. Triple Creek |
|
| Campground. In times of big snows and from artificial snow, the adjoining county's ski resort offers snow for |
|
| the skier who travels through these English Mountains. The many fire trails in the Pisgah National Forest and |
|
| certain designated riding trails, public and private, make many miles of horse back riding available to the |
|
| horse people of the area and those visiting the area with and without their own horses.French Broad Outpost |

| Ranch. Intermingled with these mountains are two major rivers, the Pigeon and French Broad, along with |
|
| numerous large creeks and small streams. The Pigeon River is the site of many water rafting |
|
| companies.Wildwater Ltd. These businesses are new to this area and have been a great success. |
|
| Where else can you raft a river that traverses via tunnel through a mountain for eleven miles before breaking |
|
| into sunlight and riverbed creating some terrific water. Everyone, local and tourist, gather to enjoy floating the |
|
| rivers. These types of activities, the rafting, hiking, biking and riding, are fortified by the special blend of |
|

| Since the Smokey Mountain National Park boundary joins the acreage of the English Mountains, |
|
| the entire park's main attraction and feature as well as Cherokee Indian Reservation, are, as the crow flies, so |

| Most local folks are the not so indirect descendants of Scot-Irish immigrants. We are intelligent, |
|
| fun loving and friendly, with an independent attitude. The pristine location and independent attitudes are some |
|
| of the many reasons we are establishing English Mountain Coffee Service here in these "home" foothills. Our |
